First it was Krupp, but after WWI the town didn't want the name of German munitions manufacturers, so it became Marlin. But the PO address was never changed, so now it is Krupp-Marlin take your choice. One thing it is no longer, is a town of 5000 people. There are 48 people living there now, a great comedown since the days when 5000 people looked forward to making their fortunes.
