Taking a stroll along Virginia Beach, I happened to look up and was struck by how weirdly ominous this hotel looked in the dusk light. While many of the other hotels along the boardwalk were set somewhat close by one another, this one stood relatively alone; the darkness of many of the windows highlighting the space around it. The people walking by on the sidewalk only heightened its monolithic impression.
