The Arctic Brotherhood first met here in 1899 (note numbers above door). Their symbol was a gold pan and nuggets, located at the top of the building. Members collected 8,800 pieces of driftwood from Skagway Bay and nailed them to the front wall. Style of this building is Victorian Rustic Architecture.
