Last year i was looking for a good spot to view a meteor shower when I got bogged in Lake Goongarie, a remote salt lake in the eastern goldfields of WA. The police came to help pull me out but ended up getting stuck as well. There was no phone reception so I lit a signal fire for another police car to find us. I ended up drinking beers all night and chatting to the police officers. The next day a third vehicle ended up getting stuck. I wasnt untill 4 days later when i managed to recruit a friend with a snow groomer to pull my Subaru out of the mud.
