In my quest to improve my photography skills and especially shooting birds in the wild, I drove (followed) this kite at the earth shattering speed of about 100 meters per 10 minutes. The kite would fly from one bush to another and as I approached it to get a decent shot he-she would fly to the next bush, a distance of about 50 meters. As time was passing and no luck, I passed and went hunting for something easier. After about 20 or so minutes on my way back I hit the jackpot. Posed nicely for me. This was the best of about 30 pics taken on this occasion. I only cropped it a little and that's the story. Hope you enjoy this as much as I do. Photo taken at the West Coast National Park, Langebaan.
