This photo was shot in my school's makeshift studio. It's apart of a series on expression I did for college.Time
Since it's from college and a studio photo, where I'm constantly manipulating light, I can't recall the actual time. However I do remember eating Chipotle so it had to have been after breakfast.Lighting
So I had the light slightly above her, tilted in a downward angle which illuminated her surface and create a distinguished outline against the dark background. The contrast and shadows accentuate her sensuality.Equipment
Equipment I used Canon Rebel t3, 17 - 55 mm lens, 1 profoto with umbrella and black rollout backdrop.Inspiration
To be honest I wanted an A for this final so I went with something familiar to me, expression.Editing
Only thing I did was some photoshop to get rid of some acne.In my camera bag
I make sure I have extra lens caps, batteries and sim cards. Everything else is just a bonus.Feedback
The intention for this series was emotion. To capture true emotion you have to share your personality in order to make people feel comfortable, which is key. This will help with communication throughout the session which will open the subject up to your guidance and bring your vision to life.
