Went for a walk in the local park with my new "compromise" guilty pleasure lens, an 18-300, just before sunset. I don't think this is bad for a compromise. Photo is untouched.
I've since come to understand this is being caused by Hurricane Ophelia, passing over the UK the day after this was taken. Though this is, in effect, a 'cheat' by underexposing a very small segment of the sky, the reset was clear blue, unlike today when it really was brown!
