As the light begins to fade and the seasons begin to change, for some reason I am captivated by this torn and tattered leaf on a thorn and berry covered vine. The way the light hugs the curves, the highlights and shadows blink red and green like the cells of the leaf are made of rich hued olive and mulberry colored tissue paper blended together which reads more like a crips leather from a slight distance away.
