driving off into a Yosemite sunset

beautiful things happen during unfortunate and terrible times times... I had a choice to either spend money on a plane ticket to Las Vegas or buy new tires for my truck... i chose safety first with my truck and winter on the way. this decision might have saved my own life... while I chose not to goto Vegas for ther weekend I wanted to do something because I had 3 days off... so i drive to Yosemite... no traffic, sunny skies, cozy weather... awesome! I get there no camp sites open and the place was packed... so I decide to stay an shoot till sunset and drive home...on the way out this photo happens. unbelievable sunset... and 48 hours later the worst news I could her... The Vegas shooting takes place where my girlfriend is across the street from it all... my heart stops and I freak out because if I was there I would have been at that concert no doubt about it... I always goto shows when I can and I would have been there most likely... this photo embodies how much I hated that weekend and some how came home with 2 photos I like out of all the 50 +-- photos I took.
