A type of grey wolf, the coastal sea wolf lives on the coastline of Vancouver Island. This particular wolf inhabits a series of islands off the coast of Victoria. It was spotted on the shoreline from a whale-watching boat. It's not very often seen. Years ago it swam out to the islands, and has remained there. It's diet is primarily seals, which are found in abundance along the shorelines. Other sea wolves inhabit the shoreline near Tofino, British Columbia.
