This photo was taken on my way to my daily job in my hometown.Time
It was a foggy and wet morning in October - the time when lime trees next to road get yellow and mist rises from the lake. First I was walking away from this view and thought it's no use to take camera from my bag ...but when I turned to see the scene one more time I realized it might be a good idea to try to shoot anyway. I didn't have the stand with me. I took some photos of the foggy trees and road and forgot them for many years. I was quite sure they were unsuccessful. And to be honest I didn't know where to use them. Later I picked them up to see if they could be used somewhere. And uploaded one of them to my collection here.Lighting
Fog, street lamps and colors of the trees made this photo feel silent and calm although it was taken in a middle of the town. The photo is somehow a bit mystical too.Equipment
Canon EOS 7D, Canon EF 24-105/L 4 USMInspiration
I took this picture by chance. I didn't do any planning. I was on my way to my daily job and I didn't have much time to take pictures. It was a hasty moment.Editing
I did the same processing as I usually do. Sharpening, levels, vibrancy etc. Nothing special. In my camera bag
I usually have one Canon body (EOS 7D or 5D MK III) and one lens (EF 70-200/2.8 L USM or 24-105/4 L USM) in my bag.Feedback
You basically need to know how the weather conditions affect the landscape and get familiar with your equipment. These kind of situation always comes out of the blue and you need to see the possibility when it's there. Seeing is the most important thing, when you move around. Even in familiar place and especially there.
