Sgt. George Cardenas, an explosive ordnance disposal technician with the Maritime Raid Force, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit and a Los Angeles native, climbs a ladder onto a cargo vessel from a rigid hull inflatable boat off the coast of Camp Pendleton, Calif., Feb. 26. The Marines participated in a visit, board, search and seizure operation as part of Interoperability Maritime Training evaluated by Special Operations Training Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force.
