This was taken at FD Studios in Downtown LA, a rental studio I visit often.Time
We were lucky to have the sun pouring into the windows at about 10am.Lighting
This studio was awash with gorgeous natural light, so I can't take much credit there!Equipment
The was shot with a Canon 5d mk iii equipped with a 50mm 1.8 lens. It's my cheapest lens, but it never lets me down!Inspiration
This bath tub came with the studio and I loved the idea of a flowing dress just spilling out of it!Editing
I did my usual workflow: light blemish removal, color correction, added a little more glow to the skin, and voila!In my camera bag
My Canon 5d mk iii is my main camera body. On a fashion shoot/agency test, I'll also carry my 85mm 1.8 and my 50mm 1.8 lenses. Nothing fancy. I always have extra UV filters, batteries for the speedlite I never use, and granola bars for models! If I'm shooting outdoors where I tend to move around more, I'll carry my 24-105mm kit lens. You really don't need super expensive gear to create fun, memorable images!Feedback
