I took this color photograph of the Goodyear Blimp Spirit Of Innovation at Gilbert Field in Winter Haven, Florida during the late afternoon of October 15, 2014. I had to walk about two hundred yards to get in position for this nearly nose on shot and then shoot through the fence.The Goodyear Blimp Spirit Of Innovation has since been retired and her last broadcast was of the 89th Academy Awards in Hollywood, California on February 26, 2017. Though the Goodyear Blimp Spirit Of Innovation was only at Gilbert Field twice to my knowledge, it is sad to know that she will not return again.
