Dalea bicolor var argyrea. Wonderful silver (called "glaucus" by botanists) foliage, contrasting with deep purple blossoms and surrounding shrubs. The "bicolor" part of the name comes from one the top petal (much reduced in size) being white. There is at least one honey bee and one other insect included in this view.
