Newly hatched Egyptian goose in Kelsey Park, Beckenham, UK. As has happened in the past couple of years, Mr & Mrs EG have produced a clutch of youngsters in September - so either six months early or six months late. There are fewer predators around at this time of the year - ie many of the herons have scarpered - so hopefully most of the six will survive. Lens: Nikkor 300mm f4
