Crescent Moon between palms

On New Year eve, 2016 I was walking on the boardwalk of Venice Beach, west of Los Angeles amidst rain of a winter storm. A brief respite in rain gave rise to crescent moon rising over black storm clouds and was nicely bracketed by the two palms on the boardwalk. The street light illuminated the twin palm trees.
