Great shot. The Kingfishers where I live are really skittish and I've never been able to get close enough to one to get a great shot like this. Congratulations

Thank you so much! You are very kind. The are usually really skittish in Southern Cal. as well. I just got very lucky with this one. He let me get about 30 feet from him. I took a step to get a bit closer....and off he went. Of course he let off that typical Kingfisher chatter (laugh) as went.
