Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken in North Carolina. It was a little difficult to find and still surprisingly busy.

Time

This was taken about an hour before sunset. Normally I would have waited for sunset but since there were no clouds I did not.

Lighting

Sunlight is the nest and worst possible lighting. This was a blended light image to prevent the bridge from disappearing in darkness or the sky from being too blown out.

Equipment

This was taken on a Nikon D750 mounted on a open tripod.

Inspiration

One of my favorite things to so is traveling all over the US taking pictures of covered bridges.

Editing

I always use Lightroom and photoshop for images I publish, but what I do is my secret.

In my camera bag

At any given point in time I have at least 2 camera bodies, a 24-70mm, 50mm, 85mm, 70-200mm, 15-30mm and some times more.

Feedback

You will not always get the image you planned on, that does not mean you can not get a good image
