Llyn Idwal with The Devil's Kitchen route leading to a moody Glyder Fawr.
This shot was scouted previously in the day. The light wasn't illuminating the river and the background very well so I had to wait untill the sun passed through lower and to the west.
This image was merged from three bracketed exposures, one for the sky and to pick out the detail in the highlights the second to expose for the midtones in the hills and rock faces, and the last to expose for the running water (the last being 1.3s). This was done with a combination of ND filters and ISO adjustments.
