“In our hands winter is like a book, pages are clouds and that snow is pearls of love.”
Spending a week in the harshest of climate for an average Indian from Plains might sound crazy, but somehow I fell in love with Winter Leh. I have been to Leh multiple times in summer, & it urged me more to do winter trip to find new perspective.
I enjoy snow, so it was not an issue (I was in Russia for some time for work, so I am accustomed with snow & terrible cold weather), the only challenge was the altitude. Leh being at around 10,000 ft above sea level & I was stationed some where near to 13000-14000 ft above sea level. That elevation in winters means less oxygen with little greenery around. But I survived and the moments were etched forever in my heart.⠀

I hope to do many more trips to Leh, Winters & Summers. ⠀
