Location
It was taken in SouthTyrol, a special part of Italy, which was in the last century's part of Austria. This is the most popular Mountain lake of the whole Alps, here in the Dolomites as part of the Alps, lies the so called " Prager Wildsee" In Italian language called " Lago di Braies" In the high seasons its completely overcrowded ...Time
It was a special day that 10.August 2017 .........The weather in that days was very, very bad with a lot of rainfall and in the area a lot of mud and debris avalanches went down from the mountains. A lot of roads were closed since more than a week . Especially the little road to the Prager Lake was closed because of too much damage by mud avalanches . In the late evening of the 9th August I heard the they will open the road to the Lago di Braies and that was the second I decided to go there in the very early morning. The Hotel we stayed was more than an hour drive away. I took my first picture around 6.06 a.m.Lighting
The Morning light here was very difficult because it was semi clouded and the sun came late from the left side if you view over the lake from the Boathouse .Equipment
