White and black birch trunks combine with the golden brown of fallen leaves to create a lovely woodland scene. This autumnal scene is part of the Creamer's Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge, approximately 1,800 acres of bird sanctuary consisting of fields, forests, and wetlands. It is also home to moose, foxes and the occasional bear. On this gorgeous fall day, the trails teemed with human life celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of the refuge.
