It was a camera club trip, I saw this is passing and wanted to get a close up as this shot. It is a competition between pairs of people making horseshoes. 300 mm lens used to get in close.Editing
Then I thought I would colour pop the metal being worked. Selected the horseshoe and reversed the selection, removing colour.In my camera bag
With the D3200 - either an 18-140 with 35mm prime, or 55-300 with 35mm prime, depending where I am going and with what intent.Feedback
Keep trying. Fast ( 1/800 th ) shutter speed needed for the 300mm of zoom. Plus hoping to capture sparks... Up the ISO if needed. This was ISO 800.
