Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken when I went to Cukul tea plantation, Pengalengan Bandung, West Java in Indonesia.

Time

This photo I took using Canon Camera 5D mark ii with Canon EF 70-300mm lens, with setting f / 14, speed 1 / 100s and ISO 400 focal lenght 86mm, without using a tripod. it was March 13, 2017 around 6:00 am, when the sun began to shine.

Lighting

This photo without using any lighting, just utilize the existing light.

Equipment

This was shot on a Canon 5D mark ii with an EF 70-300mm f/5.6 lens. No other equipment wa involved.

Inspiration

This "CUKUL" tea plantation is so beautiful to look at as the sun begins to shine and the fog is still there, this is the best time to take a photos.

Editing

Usually I keep the image in raw format, then I process in Lightroom, sometimes using Adobe Camera Raw, and completion in Photoshop. Not much I edit, just add or subtract Temperature, Exposure, Contrast, Highlight, Shadows, Clarity and Saturation.

In my camera bag

If I travel, I always carry 2 cameras, Canon 5D mark ii and Sony Alpha 7 mark ii with 3 lenses, EF 16-35mm f / 2.8 mark ii, EF 70-300mm f / 5.6 and Samyang 12mm f / 2.8 Fisheyes in my camera bag.

Feedback

To get good photographs of the landscape in the mountains, the best time is in the early morning, when the sun begins to shine where there is still a lot of fog, making our photos become more dramatic ...
