Timeball Tower situated at Point Gellibrand in Williamstown, Victoria, Australia was built by convict labour in 1852 it is the second oldest lighthouse in Victoria (Cape Otway Lighthouse is the oldest 1848). A timeball apparatus mounted on top of the bluestone tower operated regularly until 1926. Its original use was as a signalling device to ships. The shot was taken on the 31th August (which is the last day of Winter). Taken with a Nikon D810, Tokina 11-16mm @16mm, 1-25th, f22 iso100
