When we get to climb up to the 13th floor in a ancient RAF head quaters in london (world war I and II) - you can realize the reason it was choosen. Its located right at a point where River Thames curves and gives you a full view of the river on both the sides.

Now to mention the St Paul's cathedral , The Shard, The london eye, the big ben and many other astounding tourist spots that are visible from this single point :)
