Hartland Quay (pronouced as “key”) is located on the Atlantic coast of Devon, south of Hartland point and north of Bude, Cornwall. It experiences some of the roughest seas in winter and is a former harbour.

I had gone there on a clear sky day towards the end of summer. However there is this thing with the west atlantic coast areas in UK, due to the rapid atlantic currents the weather drastically changes to extremely in minutes and comes back again. Right at sunset the sky was all cloudy with absolutely no colours in them or the ocean and I was lucky it atleast stayed that way as it was a perfect moment to capture a dark tone of this gorgeous place in Black and White.
