Location
This was taken at Newfound Gap in November 2016 just before the Gatlinburg fires they smoke and the blue seen here are from fires on the North Carolina Side of the Mountain the smoke was very thick that day creating this blue hue.Time
This Photograph was taken in the early afternoon on our way back from Cherokee we always love to stop at Newfound Gap because the views are so spectacularLighting
This was taken in natural lighting in the mid afternoon the blue hue you see is caused by smoke from fires on the North Carolina Side of the MountainEquipment
I shot this with a cannon Rebel EOS T6 camera using an F 7.1 aperture using an 18-55mm lens in natural outdoor lightInspiration
When we pulled in to Newfound Gap that day and I saw the bluish Smokey hue of the Vista I knew I just had to try to capture a picture of itEditing
No post processing was done to the photographIn my camera bag
I always cart at least 3 cameras and multiple lenses depending on what I intend to shoot and what mood strikes I also carry multiple replacement batteries for each camera and additional as cards for each cameraFeedback
Be patient Try multiple angles look for the right time of day to be at that particular spot for the picture you want to get and don't get discouraged and if you don't get it the first time out just to keep trying because one day you will get it
