3 hour hike in the pitch black is the result of this image. The light actually wasn't visible with the human eye but I knew that light would come from this direction. I framed my shot and placed it on some rocks which acted as my tripod (when becoming a travel photographer I decided to leave my tripod at home, has made shoots more difficult but also more creative). I think the result is great and as I sat alone in the darkness, waiting for the sun to rise, listening to the ocean smash the waves next to me, I thought "wow how lucky am I".
