Behind The Lens

Location

My husband and I lived in Kentucky for many years and this photograph was taken outside our house with my Nikon camera.

Time

It was sunset on a beautiful Kentucky evening. I didn't use a tripod since I usually just grab my camera and try to capture a shot before it gets away from me, like a sunset. My camera was set on the automatic setting.

Lighting

I just used the lighting that God had provided for me that evening.

Equipment

The camera was a Nikon camera. Unfortunately, I no longer have that camera, so I can't tell you exactly which kind of Nikon it was. I didn't used a flash or a tripod. My lens was the one that came with the camera. As you can probably tell, I not into much details when I take a picture. I just point and shoot at what inspires me.

Inspiration

I love sunsets. They have so much color and fill the skies with God's glory. I am a Christian and I am inspired many, many times by what God gives us outside in nature.

Editing

I didn't do any type of post-processing.

In my camera bag

As I have stated before, I am not one who knows details about my cameras that I have been blessed with over the years. I do have a normal lens that comes with my cameras and a telephoto lens.

Feedback

I don't have any advice, except to get out and see what God will bless you with any time of the day.
