Behind The Lens

Location

This image was taken at ‘High Force’ on the River Tees - south Durham, United Kingdom.

Time

The image was taken at 10.57:58 on 09 September 2017

Lighting

The lighting was particularly poor at times (stormy skies). Fortunately , there was moments of acceptable light available.

Equipment

D3300 for this image, (however, I also used my D7200 for similar images) Lense: Tamron AF 16-300 and tripod.

Inspiration

‘High Force’ is one of England’s spectacular waterfalls. Because it had been raining heavily a few day previously, I couldn’t miss the opera unity to capture the ferousity of the twin waterfalls.

Editing

Yes, I used Lightroom to tweak the lighting in the image to make the image a little more atmospheric.

In my camera bag

• Nikon D7200, D3300, F80 (film) • Lense: Tamron 16-300 : Nikon 35mm : Nikon 50mm • Tripod: Manfrotto 190GOA41 with ball-head. • Rain cover (camera) • Lense cleaners • ND filters • UV filters • Polorizing filters • Speed Flash. • Spare rechargeable batteries • Film • Memory cards

Take your time to get the composition right. • Enjoy what you are doing :)
