Location
Barcience is a locality located in Toledo, Spain. We are fortunate to have innumerable castles scattered throughout our geography.Time
This is a shot taken past the blue hour. To the right of the photo there is a population and it bathes all the front of the castle. This parasitic light dyes the clouds that appeared.Lighting
Actually, in this photo, no added light source was used. All light comes from the population where the castle is located.Equipment
Shooting with Olympus equipment, specifically the Omd Em1 and the objective M.Zuiko 7-14 2.8 pro. The tripod is a Benro Mach3Inspiration
Actually, initially I thought of making a Milky Way over the castle but with the appearance of clouds assumed there would picture. However, at a particular time, the cloud drew some very interesting ways that guided the view of the castle itself, and this was the picture with which I stayed.Editing
All my images are processed first with a development in Lightroom and later edited in photoshop. They are only adjustments of contrast, tone and color. In this photograph I corrected the nicotine yellow tone that flooded the scene from the lights of the adjacent city, and that in my point of view was not flattering, towards magenta tones to contrast with the stone of the castle. In my camera bag
The micro 4/3 system is extremely versatile and lightweight, which allows me to always go out with all my equipment. In the backpack I carry the camera, a wide-angle zoom, a telephoto lens, fixed optics, flashlights (6 or 7), batteries, batteries for the camera, a flash with gels. I do not leave anything at home, I never know what I'll need. And the weight I do not know how much it will be but my backpack is not of medium size, it is not even the most capacious. I am really very satisfied with my Olympus team.Feedback
I think it's important to know how to adapt to the circumstances. Most of the time you come out with a photo in your head but, when you arrive at the place, or the weather does not accompany or there is some polluting light that you did not expect. So instead of coming down we must turn that setback into our ally. . and always have fun.
