Location
This is one of my favorite spots to hang out in Snoqualmie WA. Fall is my favorite time of year and this area shows off the colors of fall very well. I love going for walks in nature and this place never looks the same. Summer compared to Spring has a different look but the various trees and the water always makes for a great shot.Time
This early morning view just stopped me dead in my tracks. I was very new to photography when I took this, it encourged me to keep taking pictures.Lighting
this was a morning shot - I didn't use a flash or exterior lighting adjustments.Equipment
I actually took this picture with my phone. I was standing on a bridge looking toward the distant bridge you see in the picture. I didn't do anything to adjust for the lighting. The beauty of this place makes me peaceful.Inspiration
I walk here many times and at different times during the year. I am always inspired by the beautiful trees, the water and Mt. Si can be seen from the other side of the same bridge. The coloring and view just were picture perfect!Editing
I cropped the picture but didn't use any other post processing on this shot. I really try not to enhance the pictures I take.In my camera bag
I have a Nikon d3200 and just recently bought a Sony A6300 mirrorless. I use my phone a lot when I don't want to carry a lot of equipment with me.Feedback
Nature is so beautiful. It is grounding and frankly, I believe we don't get enough of it. If you stop and take a look you can stand in the same place and many different pictures. Sometimes I am surprised by what the camera catches that I never saw at the time I snapped the shot. You have to return to the same place at different times of day before you catch a shot, but I have to admit sometimes its there at the 1st time you click.
