I'm a huge fan of Vivian Maier's photography and Edward Hopper's paintings. The simple tree line, the sky and the tobacco sheds made me think of Edward Hopper's paintings while at the same I was having difficulty getting myself out of the way of the picture frame. I became more and more amused by my shadow selfie, just as I imagine Vivian Maier might have when noticing her reflection or shadow in something that grabbed her interest while on one of her many solo walks, without intentionally nor initially wanting to be part of the shot. So this is my way of paying playful hommage to Maier and to Hopper.
