I did that photo in Vitosha mountain near the city I live.Time
I did the photo in the early morning. I was at this place a couple of times before that looking for some fog :) Finally at the 3-rd time I had the fog I wanted. It was near perfect conditions for the shot I was looking for.Lighting
It was very interesting light at the moment I took this photo. The sun was just in front of me but it was partially blocked by the clouds. I did some dodge & burn at the photo to draw viewers eye from the stream into the forest mixed with beautiful autumn leafs.Equipment
I've used Nikon D600 with my irix 15mm and a tripod.Inspiration
I was looking forward to make a nice autumn foggy image and this place (Bistrishka river) is favorite place of mine. I really like foggy scenes in the forest and the stream was a bonus :)Editing
Yes of course. I post-processed the image. I've made it warmer and I dodged & burn to the most important places on the scene as the stream, the neaves, the rock and the fog.In my camera bag
I currently have one camera body (Sony A7R), with my Samyang 14mm and my Sony 50mm f/1.8. I also bring with me shutter release, ND stopper filter and accessories.Feedback
Patience and desire is the most important. Also proper settings and good post processing. It's all about the weather conditions for scenes like this, because i'ts not that interesting without the fog and the diffused light.
