Start trail images are awesome. Depending on where you point your camera you will get different effects. In this image I pointed the camera at the Polaris, the North Star. I took roughly 90 min of 30 second exposures. As you stack the images the stars appear to move around Polaris in a circular fashion. In reality what you are seeing is the earth rotating on its axis.
