This shot is lit by the moonrise coming over the top of the Napali coast cliffs to the left of the camera. It was very challenging and fun as the tide was coming in while the moon was coming up and lighting the beach. By the time I got this shot the waves were hitting me at about 2 feet high around my tripod.
