Together with a friend I recently rented a bird-hide in Kalmthout (Belgium). We photographed a lot of avial species in the reed fields. Close to the end of the day we got a young sparrowhawk on visit who saw himself in the mirror-glass of the hide and attacked the hide. After 10 minutes he returned to observe the setting for some more time. This frame is taken with a 500mm lens (FX) at a distance of less than 8 meters from the bird. I always work with spot metering and dynamic ISO with minimum 1-1000 shutter speed.
