I took this photo in one of the parks of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.Time
During our visit to the park in the afternoon. This is the son of my cousin and every year they come to visit us in the summer.Lighting
Natural light, beautiful summer day. No additional accessories such as flash used in this photo. I felt lucky to have a great day with beautiful natural light.Equipment
This was shot still with my older camera Canon 7D and the Canon lens EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM.Inspiration
We made it as a tradition that my cousin comes to visit Amsterdam once a year from Israel. During the visit I have a lot of opportunities to take photos of the amazing kid. Each time you notice that when you let kids be themselves, you will get the most amazing images. This is one example.Editing
I take my photos in RAW and normally develop them as I wish to see the end result. With this image I just wanted to turn it to black & white, nothing else was done to the image. In my camera bag
The equipment I normally use and it depends which bag I'm taking. Sometime I take only the body and a lens and sometimes I carry several lenses with me: My camera: Canon 5D mark IV Lenses: Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Canon EF 100-400MM F/4.5-5.6L IS II USM Canon EF100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM Canon MP-E 65MM F/2.8 1-5X Macro Samyang 50mm f/1.4 AS UMC besides that I have some accessories such as tripod, batteries, cards, etc.Feedback
I more the type to take the natural photos of people. I know that sometimes you need to stage the scenery and depends what you are looking for as an end result, but, for kids photography I found that letting them be as they are you will get the best results. And always keep trying, learning and improving.
