We were walking through our local California park, during our rainy season (Nov.-Dec.), Dec. 19, 2014, to find a good place to take our daughter's school photos. We discovered the trees were covered in mosses and tiny mushrooms (some as small as a pinhead). Such a beautiful and surreal site to see.
