This leaf kept spinning in the wind!! It rarely held still for more than a second, even when the wind died down and other leaves stopped rattling. It was hard to capture this exact leaf, but I kept trying! These leaves are so beautiful!!! Driving through Mendocino County, I found this beautiful tree on the path to Parducci Winery. Some of the leaves looked purple, albeit a dark reddish-eggplant-purple, but purple none-the-less. The sun was not setting, but was on the other side of this tree, illuminating the veins of the leaves. What beauty!
