Self portrait taken a few months after graduation. I was struggling with who I was as a person and an artist at the time having overcome tremendous hurdles to graduate and struggling with PTSD. This was the first time I decided not to cut my hair off after trauma as well as when I stopped being worried about how I looked with glasses (go big or go home). It was a time of embracing the body I lived in as it was and making an active decision to be the best me I could.
