Jemima Duck had 9 babies this year and brought them up to my door every day for oats. These are wild ducks, not farmyard ducks, and I was delighted when they came right up to me and fell about my feet in their excitement. I spent many happy hours taking photos of the ducklings and documenting how quickly they grew up. This image was featured on Ireland's TV3 as "Shot of the Day" during the summer of 2017.
