While flying home recently from my holiday in tropical far North Queensland, I looked out the window and couldn't help but be captivated by the expansive wide open space below me. We are a country as big as America yet we have the same amount of people in all of Australia as they do solely in Los Angeles, California. (Puts things in perspective!)
I felt so small yet so grateful to live in a country where so much of our beautiful landscape is still untouched. I felt a great sense of pride while flying over this beautiful mountain range, to look out and see so much of nature still thriving, how lucky I am to call this place home. And how lucky I am to be able to travel and see it with my own eyes and share it with the rest of the world, who may not be able to ever see it with theirs.
(So out came the camera!)
