This light house was built in 1823 and stands in the same place on Fayerweather Island in Bridgeport CT. No longer used for navigation, it is now lit with a solar light. A huge osprey nest sits on top-the square block on top to the right is the nest. The island can be reached by walking over the seawall. A popular spot for fishing, as seen here.
