This happened through pure chance...i never expected the photo would look like this. It's been two years, and still one of my all time favorites

Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at the school where I worked at the time. It was the annual matric farewell, and I had the privilege of taking photos of these two beautiful sisters.

Time

Late afternoon, we had about an hour before the event was so start.

Lighting

The time of day was perfect. This was an unplanned successful shot.

Equipment

I used a nikkon D3500. I had just started taking photos. I was never confident in my ability of taking photos of people

Inspiration

I absolutely love taking photos of people who don't realise I'm taking pictures of them. These two sisters were sharing a moment that I was able to capture.

Editing

I brightened up the shot, to make the colours pop. I love photos that are crisp.

In my camera bag

I used to own a nikon, however it was stolen. I then became a mom, and have been struggling to save up and purchase a new one. So most of my shots are taken using my phone.

Feedback
