Hibiscus are very beautiful and interesting flowers. Their petals are large and flamboyant but the inside of the flower is what surprises and intrigues me. The stigma is divided into five sections that each end in a circle that is covered in fine hairs. Seen close up you are surprised as to the delicate nature of them. The pollen grains on the anthers look like balls of jelly.
