I took this shot in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Uganda. This place is home to almost half of the remaining critically endangered mountain gorilla population, of which there is less than 900 left in the world. It took us over 3 hours of hiking through the rain forest to find these guys and another 2 just trying to keep up with them and get shots. They had recently had an encounter with another family of gorillas so they were on edge and moving out of the area. This male here charged us three times. As gentle as he looks, it was terrifying!
