An oldie from a few years back. I can't speak for the rest of the country, but here in Central Virginia, pretty much any summer Saturday evening with nice weather turns up impromptu car shows in parking lots all across the region. This spectacular VW Beetle was parked next to a Lotus Elise and a 40's era Chevy at the True Value in Bealeton. I'm not a huge fan of VW, but I respect detail and craftsmanship, so this was the highlight of my night. I wish I knew the owner-builder so I could credit him.
